We Are... Fire, EMS, Swift Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, Rope Rescue
Under 2 stations, we house 2 Engines, 3 Squads, 2 Water Tankers, 1 Grass fire trucks, 2 Off road vehicles, with the cooperation with Summit County we house Summit County Hazmat Support Truck 3856 and Summit County Swift Water/Dive Trailer, and provide 25 square miles of Fire-EMS coverage for 3,529 residents of the Village of Peninsula, Boston Township and Village of Boston Heights .
Established in 1976, we are a 35 member Department which is 24 hour Full and Part-time staffed and volunteer supported.
